About Us
Welcome to Thornham Fishing Lake, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque countryside of Norfolk. Our tranquil lake is surrounded by the beautiful rural landscape, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With its convenient location, you can easily explore the charming historic market towns of Thetford and Downham Market during your stay.
Cabins & Area
Our charming log cabin-style lodges offer picturesque lakeside views and spacious accommodations, comfortably sleeping up to four guests each, with one double bed and two single beds. We are located within 14 miles of Thetford making it easy to explore Norfolk, suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
Fishing
The well established lakes offer a good mix of coarse fish including Carp upto 25 lbs, tench upto 8 lbs, Bream upto 8 lbs and Perch amongst many others upto 2.2 lbs. Our Second Lake which was dug 4 years ago is stocked with mainly Carp, Night fishing is allowed in all of the lakes.
As we are a holiday fishing destination, we do not offer day ticket access to the lakes.

We at Thornham Lakes want you to enjoy the fishing and our rules are there to ensure your safety as well as the well being of our lakes and fish. Please note day tickets are not available to the lakes.

Accommodation
All of our luxury lodges offer 2 bedroom accommodation consisting of one double and two single beds, fully fitted wardrobes and shower room or bathroom. The open plan living and dining rooms are furnished to a high standard. The kitchens are fitted with integrated appliances including gas hob, oven, washing machine, full-size fridge freezer with some lodges also having a dishwasher. Also benefit from double glazing and gas central heating. There are vaulted ceilings throughout the lodges giving them an open and spacious home from home feel. Parking is available at every lodge with wheel chair access. The only exemption for wheel chair access would be for the Kestrel Lodge.

Price list
These Prices are all year round
7 nights stay is Saturday to Saturday all inclusive of electricity, gas, water and fishing (on production of a valid license)
Guests are asked to provide their own towels and bed linen (duvets and pillows are provided)
We allow small, well behaved dogs in our Woodpecker lodge
Short breaks available from October through to April – 3 day minimum stay – weekends subject to availability.

At the time of booking a deposit of £150.00 is required and then your balance is due two weeks before arrival. Payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer
